Mancos, CO's Garage Door Cable Repair Team
A frayed lift cable is one of the more dangerous garage door problems homeowners ignore — under spring tension, a snapped cable can cause the door to drop suddenly.

Every Mancos, CO technician dispatched for Garage Door Cable Repair carries the specific tools and parts this job requires, not a generic all-purpose kit.
We'd rather send one truck that's actually equipped for garage door cable repair than three that aren't, even if it means a slightly longer wait on a rare occasion.
We check both cables and both drums together, since wear rarely happens in isolation.
Galvanized aircraft cable resists fraying far longer than standard cable in humid Mancos, CO conditions.
Every job includes a post-repair tension and balance check.
Cables are common stock on our trucks, so most jobs finish in one visit.
Even a few loose strands mean a cable is close to failing under load — we inspect both cables even when only one shows visible wear.
A cable that's already snapped usually means the door dropped or hangs crooked — we stabilize it before beginning repair.
A cable that's slipped off its drum causes uneven hanging — worn or cracked drums get replaced rather than reused.
Extension spring systems should run safety cables to prevent whip-back — older doors often lack them entirely.
The bracket anchoring the cable to the door corrodes over time — we repair or replace it as part of cable service.

If only one shows wear, we'll say so rather than upsell the second.
If you notice either, call +1-866-597-3069 before the cable fails completely.
We treat snapped cable calls with the same urgency as a broken spring.
We don't recommend it — cables work under spring tension requiring proper tools.
They run through extension springs to contain them if the spring fails.
We check cable condition as part of any service call, even unrelated ones.
We keep Mancos coverage tight enough to hold same-day response standards for this service.
Coverage for this service matches our general Mancos service area, with the same flat-rate pricing and guarantee.
We track service history by address across Mancos, so a repeat garage door cable repair call doesn't mean re-explaining your setup from scratch.
Small issues turn into emergency calls fast — get ahead of it now.
